Built in Poole, England, Ceilidh, a Sunseeker Manhattan 65 (approximately 69 feet in length), is the second boat built by Sunseeker for our client. With discussions beginning in early 2016, the boat was shipped to her base port of Tokyo upon its completion in June of the same year. Aiming to integrate an enhanced, high-end, flexible and user friendly system, the project was a luxury upgrade of the standard Sunseeker M65 AV spec throughout the entire boat.
Creating &ldquo;ship to shore&rdquo; and &ldquo;cellular redundant&rdquo; connections, the boat was fitted with a Pep-wave BR1 LTE 3G/4G cellular router and four access points, providing a boat wide WiFi network. Additionally all cabins were hardwired via a gigabit switch.  This serves to preserve WiFi bandwidth for general guest use. 
 This enhancement enabled TVs in the Saloon, Master and VIP cabins to upgrade to Samsung UHD 4K smart-TVs. Additionally, Blu-ray players were installed in each cabin/entertainment area. Cinema, audio and picture streaming to all on-board devices (including iPads, tablets, and phones) was integrated through the installation of a QNAP TS-251-4G TS-251- NAS drive loaded with 2x Seagate 2TB Drives (4TB total storage).
Four independent zones of Sonos audio were installed in the Saloon, Aft Deck, Fly Bridge and Fore Deck (with removable BOSE speakers provided in the Fore Deck). Audio capabilities were upgraded to 5.1 surround by installing a BOSE Lifestyle 535 system in the Saloon, with Fusion speakers flush mounted 
 into the roof of Ceilidh&rsquo;s Main Cabin.
Standard individual remote control, for both the boat&rsquo;s owner and guests, was upgraded by providing a custom &ldquo;all-in- one&rdquo; App on the boat&rsquo;s iPad (with the ability for all guests to install on their own devices). Additionally, separate Apps for Sonos, TV&rsquo;s and streaming services were installed.
Additional external HDMI sockets, installed and located in each area, were added to permit for input from other devices. With the achievement of total system flexibility, guests are given the option to to use their personal devices or the boat&rsquo;s, for watching and listening to content. Finally, the creation of a user friendly &ldquo;drag and drop&rdquo; method was implemented to allow for additions to network content.
Commissioned, set up and tested by Superyacht AV during the sea trial period, the system installation was carried out in conjunction with the Poole Boatyard and their dedicated team of craftsmen and electricians.
